Jim's story 16: Rubik's cube.

One day, Jim and Jin were playing Rubik's cube. 'This is hard!' said Jim, 'I need help!'. 'Maybe we can ask Dad because he is an expert at solving Rubik's cube.' said Jin. Then they asked Dad how to solve it.

'Oh! We forget that Dad is working!', said Jim.'We can just search!', said Jin. Then Jin searched.

They learned how to solve the cube now so everything is becoming easier. Jin and Jim both solved the cube.

They showed everybody in the classroom how did they solve the cube. After that, everybody knows how to solve a Rubik's cube.

They created a poem called Rubik's cube.

Rubik's cube

I love solving Rubik's cube.

Without using any clue.

Solving it is fun.

It makes your brain run.

It is just a toy.

But not just for a boy.

When you finish solving it,

your brain will train a bit.

If you break it with a tissue,

then that will be an issue.

Some people did it fast,

but they still lost at last.

You can buy it in a store.

And you want to buy one more.

You can send it as a gift,

and you can easily lift.

The cube is not a ball,

so you cannot let it roll.

When you search it on a net,

you will never get wet.

When you give up and throw me,

you won't be holding a key.

If you break the cube,

it will not be a Rubik's cube.

I think today I felt happy because today I made a really long poem and I thought about it with my sister so I am thankful for her. See you guys in the next blog. Bye Bye ~~~~~

My poem: July

Hi, everybody. My name is Yu and today I am going to tell everybody about that today we worked at the office.

In the morning, we woke up early and we went to the office and worked. We worked whole day.

Today is Monday and today is not a holiday or something. In July, most of the days are not in Taichung. Most of them are in London or Japan. There is only 2 more days in July so that means there will only be 5 days in TAIWAN in July.

I created a poem and I hope you like it.

July

I love the trips, and eating chips.

I had a lot of fun but I didn't eat any bun.

We went to London

And watched Wimbledon.

We went to Japan

But we didn't buy any pan.

This is my poem about this month. I love traveling around the world but I also really like our country TAIWAN.

Do you like the poem I made? I think I love it because all of the things in side is true.

I think today I felt happy because today is the second day in Taiwan and we can count how many days. I think it will be a hundreds of days. I will enjoy Taiwan. I love Taiwan. Go! TAIWAN! See you guys in the next blog. Bye bye!

Yu's Japan trip 5: Hello TAIWAN!

Hi, everybody my name is Yu and today I want to tell everybody about that today we went back to Taiwan. That means we leaved Japan.

In the morning, we woke up early and go to our first stop which is the tax free shop. I bought a bag of tiramisu candies.

Then we went on a boat that goes around Matsushimaya. There is a haiku called Matsushimaya.

Matsushimaya ah ah.

Matsushimaya.

The end

After that, we went to the Sendai Mitsui Outlet. We took a ride on the Ferris wheel. It is the only Ferris wheel in Sendai so it says it is the biggest Ferris wheel in Sendai. I think that is funny.

Then we went to the airport. The airport is not so big but it is a lot bigger than Aomori Airport.

The plane we took is a small plane and there is a Gudetama on the plane. Even the pillow has Gudetama on it.

Soon, we went back to our home. 

I think today I felt happy because today we went to lots of places. We also went back to Taiwan which is our home. Tomorrow is going to be a nice day. See you in the next blog. Bye bye to Japan and everybody who reads the blog!

Yu's Japan Trip 4: The last day

Hi, everybody. My name is Yu and today I want to tell everybody that today is the last day in Japan. We are going to go away from Japan so I am not so happy. We will say hello to TAIWAN but we will say bye to Japan.

In the morning, we woke up early and then went to our first place which is the flying mochi.

I think the storekeeper is really kind. He let us pull the string from the next side of the river.

The string is very long so you need to be really quick. Some of the Chinese are really crazy. They pushed the basket. I was really angry.

We also went on the second floor. There are lots of photos. We also took a picture, but we took it home.

When the basket with mochi and tea is coming, there are two flags. The first one is TAIWAN. The other one is Japan.

The storekeeper also waves two really really really really really really really really really really really big Taiwan flags.

I want to have a longer trip in Japan, but we can't stay here for too long or else we will want to go back to Taiwan.

I think today I felt happy because today we went to a mochi store and I think the way to get the mochi from this side to that side is really creative. I love it. See you guys in the next blog. Bye bye!

Yu's Japan Trip 3: Fish

Hi, everybody. My name is Yu. Today I want to tell everybody about that today we went to Lake Tazawa. We fed the fish and I felt happy. When I throw a lot of food, lots of fish will jump up. The sight is very good. I love it.

In the morning we woke up early and went to the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast is pretty good.

Then we went to our first stop which is the Lake Tazawa. It is the deepest lake in Japan.

There are some fish in the lake. We bought a pack of fish food. I think feeding fish is fun.

When you throw a lot of food like 5 to 10 pieces, lots of fish will come and eat them. There will be some bubbles and I think it is cool.

We also played throwing stone. You need to try to throw the stone. Try to let the stone bounce in the water.

We also went on a little little train, but it is not as small as a toy train. It has two cars.

The front car is orange. The second car is blue. We went to the front of the orange car and watch the sight.

There are some level crossings. Sometimes, I can see some cars.

I think today I felt happy because today we went to Lake Tazawa. We fed the fish and threw the stone. I think the train is really cool. The sight is cool. The rail is really beautiful. See you guys in the next blog. Goodbye!

Yu's Japan trip 2: A huge hotel!

Hi, everybody. My name is Yu. Today I want to tell everybody about that today we went to a huge hotel. I think that is the biggest hotel in the whole world. There are four beds. One is a sofa bed.

In the morning, we woke up really early. We ate our breakfast really early. I ate two sausages, a bacon, some eggs, and corn.

We went to Nebuta Museum Wa Rasse. There are lots and lots of projects inside the museum.

Then we went to Oirase Gorge. There are lots of waterfalls. There is also a river. The path is really small. It is like exploring in the jungle.

We saw the biggest waterfall beside the river but I think that is not so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so big.

Then we went to our hotel. When we go inside the room we were frightened because the room is really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really big and it is very cool because there are four beds in it and one is the sofa bed and I slept on the sofa bed. It feels really really really really really really really really really really really good. I slept really well.

I think today I felt happy because today we went to a really big hotel. The bathroom is also quite big but not as big as the room. The bathroom is cool because there are three things. One is the body soap, one is the shampoo and another one is the conditioner. The tour guide says if you see a B, then that is for body soap. If you see S, then that is Shampoo. Yu's Japan trip 1: Going to Aomori!

Hi, everybody. My name is Yu and today I want to tell everybody about that today we went on a really small plane to go to Aomori Airport. The airport is really small. I think this is the most special flying trip.

In the morning, we woke up super early because we have an HSR train at 6:56. We went on an express HSR so it was just only 1 stop and I think that is good. I slept on the train.

Then we took an express metro from Taoyuan HSR station to Taoyuan International airport terminal 2.

Then we took a plane to Aomori Airport. The plane we took is a really small plane. We need to sit on a shuttle bus and go next to the plane. There is a tube that can let you go inside the plane.

It is a small plane so when it needs to turn the plane, you will feel like the plane is going to turn 360 degrees.

Do you know how small is the plane? There is only two sides of seats. There are 3 seats each side.

The building where we ate our dinner is really big. The hotel is really big. We have two rooms, but our main room is at the left hand side.

I think today I felt happy because today we went to Aomori and it is good. The famous thing in Aomori is the apple! Do you like apples? See you guys in the next blog. Goodbye!
